VATMI Industries owns and operates a number of recycling and packing businesses in Victoria, and is a leading employer of people with a disability.
Until recently, the businesses operated as stand alone entities in the communities in which they operated.
Sandhurst Enterprises Recycling (Bendigo), VicWest Recyclers (Stawell) and WRC (Wangaratta) will all now be relaunched as VATMI – Recycling Excellence. Similarly, all of their VaTPaK operations (Kew, Keon Park and Bendigo) have been relaunched as VATMI – Packing Excellence.
All of the companies signage has been changed to reflect a more contemporary group of logo’s and brands.
Chief Executive, Greg Wasmund said “We undertook a lot of stakeholder surveys before realizing that the name VATMI had real brand equity in some areas we do business and none in others. We wanted our businesses in regional / metropolitan areas to have a linkage to the parent brand as opposed to something that was only known locally. It was then logical to utilize the strength of the parent brand across the state.”
Originally founded in 1958, the VATMI Group has expanded to a point it now operates over 6 sites. The company offers a range of recycling and packing services to customers from their premises in Melbourne, Stawell, Bendigo and Wangaratta. These services include packing and distribution, recycling and logistics. The focus of the organisation remains the professional delivery of competitive goods and services, whilst providing meaningful employment for all of its employees. |
